Digital File Submission Guidelines

Color Space & Camera Settings:

  • Use sRGB color space for any file you submit.
  • We suggest shooting sRGB JPEGs (JPG), which is the standard for most digital cameras, at the largest image size and highest quality level your camera produces.
  • If you shoot in RAW, you must be images into JPEG (JPG) files before submitting them to our laboratory.
  • Do not reduce the size of your digital images when submitting files either online or via a CD-R .

File Naming Guidelines:

  • JPEG (JPG) files only. (All other files, including TIFF, PSD, and RAW will not be accepted)
  • Place only one order per DVD or in a group of CD(s).
  • File numbers/names must not exceed eight (8) letters and/or numbers. We suggest no less than four (4) digits (example: 0001, 0002, etc.).
  • No spaces between letters! Empty spaces (including at the beginning of your files) will require a renumbering charge.
  • Please do not use underscores __ to fill open spaces in files as these will create problems with the Kodak DP2 software we use in printing and may result in skipped prints or enlargements.
  • Do not use any non alfa-numeric characters in your files. (Examples of symbols you should not use are: ! @ # $ % ^ & * ”)
  • Black & White files must be RGB only. (De-saturated not grey scale.)
